The Chocolate Mountain was born on a cold
winter day in Vail, Colorado, as the family, all skiing
enthusiasts, brain stormed starting a business that would
allow us to stay in Vail full time and would satisfy our
creative urges. That was in 1978. By summer we opened our first store in Vail.
Later, we added a store in Ohio and two more in
Georgia. Our
emphasis has always been on superior ingredients and beautiful
design. Through the years families moved, children married and one by
one we closed the stores, although we have continued to make
chocolates for family and friends.
Now the family has come together again
with an exciting new product that we will offer to the public
through our web site. Being
conscious of public awareness of the chemicals in foods and
our desire to offer a pure and sweet product, we are now
making candy using high quality Belgian natural chocolate
covering certified organic or natural fruits.
Nothing else has been added.
No chemicals, no preservatives or artificial flavors.
